Book Review - ‘Remaking the Global Economy’, edited by Jamie Peck download_trans.gif Download

Description:
Contemporary economic geography is a cognate discipline to political economy with a shared concern and approach for pivotal issues such as globalisation, inequality, trade and development, economic restructuring, corporate strategies and the relationship between the economy and environment. Yet this was not always the case. Until the 1970s, economic geography was embedded within the apolitical cul-de-sac of positivist spatial modelling.
