		<description>The Reserve Bank of Australia and the UNSW Economics Society Essay Competition (http://www.unswecosoc.com/rba-economics-competition-2009) for students studying Economics at an accredited university in Australia has now closed.Because the essay topic is related to the special theme issue of JAPE that was published at the end of 2009, entrants were also welcome to submit their work to JAPE for consideration. This particularly applied where essayists took a critical political economic approach to the topic.</description>
